We are authorized and very experienced in doing any Apple repair.

Technology Revealed has been performing Apple warranty repairs for over 10 years. We have three Apple Certified Technicians on staff. There is no other company in the State of Connecticut (CT) that has the expertise in Apple warranty repairs that we do.

With our direct connection to Apple we can get any part needed to fix your computer, check warranty status before you leave and can track any parts ordered from Apple.

Repair turn around can be as quick as the same day or up to a week plus depending on parts and availability. We want to get your computer back to you as soon as possible.

Out Of Warranty Repairs

Technology Revealed can effectively and efficiently diagnose any Desktop or Laptop Apple has ever made from a hardware failure perspective.

Our state of the art repair facility consists of climate controlled, static free work benches, grounded benches and mats, and a full line of Apple related tools. We also have Apple hardware diagnostic software, a computer component grade vacuum, high speed internet access, etc.

We specialize in ibook, PowerBook G4 & G5, MacBook, MacBook Pro, iMac, Mac Mini, and Mac Pros.

We can perform the following:

Pricing

We created this pricing to give you an idea of what our fee’s are for the most commonly asked about repairs. 
Every repair and situation is different.  These prices are budgetary only.

In Shop Diagnosis (non-warranty):  $49.99

This charge is for the time it takes us to figure out what your problem is and how much it is going to cost to have the computer back to proper working order.  No additional charge above the diagnostic fee will be charged until we have your verbal OK.

Software support is available for any applications including Apple related (OS, iLife, Mail, Safari, etc.) and any and all third party applications such as (Adobe CS, Quark, Firefox, MS Office, etc.)  $125 hr. (in-shop only)

Hard Drive Replacement

  • Laptop    - 500GB drives for $225 installed plus data transfer time.
  • Desktop - 1TB drives for $225 installed plus data transfer time.

Data Recovery:  

  • $125 per hour, one hour minimum regardless is we can get any data back.

LCD Panel Replacement

  • LCD's are complicated, best range we can give is $500 to $800

DVD Drive Replacement

  • Laptop - $275 installed
  • Desktop - $225- $275 installed

Logic Board Replacement

  • Laptop - $400 on a MacBook to $1200 on a MacBook Pro installed
  • Desktop - $200 on a Mac Mini to $1000 on a Mac Pro installed

Top Case Replacement for Laptop

  • These range from $225 to $350 installed

Power Supply Replacement 

  • Laptops - $250 installed
  • iMac - $225 - $325 installed
  • Mac Pro - $225 - $325 installed

Application and Operating System Upgrades

Most people try to do this themselves and some are very successful, but there is more to it then hitting the install button.
What we specialize in is what works with what and what doesn’t. This is where the expertise comes in.

One thing we don’t recommend is installing any upgrade or update as soon as it comes out. This is not to say they are not tested before release but it is safer to wait some time to see how things pan out.

Technology Revealed can perform system upgrades for any version of Mac OS. Additionally, we can perform application upgrades for MS Office, Acrobat Suite, iLife, iWork, FireFox, Safari, Apple Mail, Quicken, QuickBooks and various other titles.

Application And Operating System Troubleshooting

It happens.

As much as the Mac OS is rock solid there are times when things just don’t work correctly. That’s where we come in.

Technology Revealed can perform expert level software troubleshooting for the Mac OS and any third party applications such as MS Office, AppleMail, iWorks & iLife Apps, Safari, Firefox, QuickBooks, FileMaker, etc.

If it’s made for a Mac we can make it work.

Mac Data Recovery

If you’re reading this, chances are it’s not a good thing but rest assured that we will do everything we can to get as much of your data back as possible. We’ve been doing it for years.
Technology Revealed has been very successful in getting lost data off of failed Mac hard drives for many years. We can work on laptop, desktop, backup, external and RAID drives.
For years we have been able to save our customers both money and data. Our patented process of data recovery is 85% to 90 % effective on most hard drive failures.

Most data recovery services start out at roughly $400 for them to just look at the drive and it goes up from there into the thousands. Our charge is $125 for the first hour in which we will determine how much of your data we can recover. We will not do any more work until we get an OK from you to go forward.
