Technology Revealed is pleased to announce a new product we are offering to our valued customers. It's called Private Eyes and it's a proactive service to monitor your backup and server systems.
Our approach is simple. Each weekday (excluding holidays) we remotely log into your network to check the following:
On your backup system we look for:
- Problems in the backup logs.
- The status of your backup media.
- The status of your next scheduled backup.
On your Server we look for:
- The S.M.A.R.T. status of your server drives (internal).
- The RAID status of any internal or external server attached storage.
- The available disk space on your storage and backup drives.
- Your system logs for any input/output errors.
- Any pending system updates your server requires.
Our goal is to proactively discover issues that could cause problems and work with you to solve them, lessening your risk of down time, lost money and productivity. If an issue is found, we will attempt to contact you immediately via phone and email. Once we make contact, we will give you options to resolve the problem. You can place an onsite service call, schedule a remote repair session (if available), or you could simply take our concern under advisement and resolve the issue on your own. If you choose to have us resolve the issue for you, our standard hourly service rates would apply.
We have had numerous requests from our customers to offer this type of service, and we feel it compliments the other valued services we currently provide. We know you're busy, and this service can help to take some of the load off of your already hectic schedule. It only takes one server outage or data loss event to severely impact your company and the costs can easily run into thousands of dollars. We can give you peace of mind knowing that our experts are keeping track of some of the most critical aspects of your business.
The cost of this service is $125 a month billed monthly via credit card and a $200 setup fee to begin the service.
The setup fee covers the cost of one of our technicians coming to your business to setup remote access and test communication from our office to yours.
